Wave race and F-Zero remain my favorite racers no matter how many other race franchises I've played, their unique quality and fun forever gave them a special place in my heart. Can't wait for Wii U version of both games.

Regardless of naysayers and fanboys, Nintendo is on the right track and gaining momentum progressively faster.
This game looks incredibly fun, I think it'll be equivalent to Blast Corps64 which was a launch window game for N64, made by RARE, published by Nintendo and was criminally underrated by some and considered a launch-window sleeper hit.
I feel that Platinum Games will be filling the void left by Rare's departure and I may go on as to anticipate a similar second party relationship with Nintendo not very far down the road if not already planned and done, which will benef...
Good, I still have 4 of them. It's good that Wii U is fully backward compatible with wii's controllers, as I believe that wiimote+ had excellent 1:1 motion control and opened interesting gameplay approaches but the games were restricted by the low technical capabilities of the Wii, especially not being HD. Now with the superior, full HD hardware, it's only up to developer's imagination and creativity to utilize many unique control interfaces.

That would be perfect, it should benefit from the superior hardware, higher RAM and the new innovative controller options as well as the high capacity disc and fast disc read speed minimizing or all together eliminating loading and pop-up. Now R* and Take2 make it happen and also fix the rudimentary hand to hand combat and clunky shooting/cover mechanics, and we might end up with one of the best games ever.

One of the best console launch lineups ever. Can't wait for my Deluxe preorder, how can you not want to experience that controller first hand and play with it, also can't wait for Nintendo's franchises in HD.

Thank you LX-General-Kaos, N64 was, and still, my favorite video game console, and I definitely agree with Mario 64 being the best launch title ever.
If they partner up with the big N, it'll be the most interesting and potentially productive move of this kind in recent years, bringing back memories of the best successful partnership in video game history between Nintendo and Rare.

Shadowman and Eternal Darkness were scary in a very twisted and unique way.
